Madmen periodic table

The season premiere for every new season of Mad Men tv series is the key to a lot of efforts, that grow bigger as the audience of the series. So if last year it was about madmenizing ourselves, this year we’ve found other stuff, such as:

a periodic table of Mad Men references, to stay updated of everything’s going on (via Flavorwire)

a job interview to find out which job could you be hired at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce

a funny Jib Jab sendable video where you can put-your-picture in a 3-minute piece that tells about the whole story and its characters

Even a webinar reviewing different marketing topics and present both the 1960′s point of view (by Sterling Cooper) and the 2010 point of view (by HubSpot).

Musically inspired

A very cool and aesthetically pleasing personal project by London artist Simon C. Page. A good initiative to encourage people to find out more about the music visually as the artwork has been created with no other influence other than the music.

Dating Brian

Meet Brian. He’s from Wisconsin, has almost no experience dating and just moved to New York City. With more than half of New Yorkers single, the dating scene is just ridiculous.

Kinda wicked, an new online dating metaphor, maybe i could do with one as well.

Diacarta

Looking for a more elegant way to plan your days than the iPhone’s built-in Calendar app? Give Diacarta ($2) a try. Based around a novel interface that offers two 12-hour periods — AM and PM — for each day, users drag-and-drop from a library of more than 50 graphic icons on to screen, and move it around the edges of the central clock to associate it with a particular time. Simple, elegant, and well-designed, it’s well worth the two bucks even if your day planning consists of nothing but “buying beer,” “grilling out,” and “drinking beer.”

35mm

»35mm« is a shortfilm about cinema itself. Pascal Monaco picked 35 of his favorite movies and tried to simplifly them as far as possible. The outcome is a 2 minute journey through the history of film.
Take a close look and yes it’s sweet.

This is what my heart says

UNICEF dirty water vending machine

A thought provoking approach to showcase the importance of clean water. Nice.

When it rains

It’s those times when thoughts just creeps in. For those who just wanna go someplace where no one knows your name.

Letterboard

Letterboard turns your iPad or iPhone into a sign-board. It lets you create signs in the style seen in airports and convention centers everywhere. Oh, what fun can be had with this?!

Onur Senturk – Triangle

The Triangle project is a video created by Onur Senturk for the book “Black Material”. An impressive short animation that combines geometrical forms and movements, in a real environment.
