Possibly one of the sweetest and nicest promo pieces for Valentine’s Day I’ve ever seen. And possibly a sign that the creative “war” between Field Notes and Moleskine has officially begun. After a lot of recent great videos by Moleskine, FN fights back with a lovely little artwork.

The video has been created to promote the Red Blooded notebook which has been recently added to the Field Notes standard product line. The notebook that becomes a love letter: a further proof that life, love and commerce can intersect nicely. Well… maybe the description that they added on the site is a bit too much but, still, it’s a very inspiring and beautiful work.

Chaotic Moon Labs’ “Board of Awesomeness” is intended as a technology teaser to show how perceptive computing can turn around the way we look at user experiences. The project utilizes a Microsoft Kinect device, Samsung Windows 8 tablet, a motorized longboard, and some standard and custom hardware to create a longboard that watches the user to determine what to do rather than have the operator use a wired or wireless controller.

Canadian band ‘Arcade Fire’ have relaunched their hit ‘Sprawl II’ in an interactive dance-in-front-of-your-webcam version. Send your little sister or colleagues out of the room and steer the zombie-like creatures with your hands and body.
