Diacarta

Looking for a more elegant way to plan your days than the iPhone’s built-in Calendar app? Give Diacarta ($2) a try. Based around a novel interface that offers two 12-hour periods — AM and PM — for each day, users drag-and-drop from a library of more than 50 graphic icons on to screen, and move it around the edges of the central clock to associate it with a particular time. Simple, elegant, and well-designed, it’s well worth the two bucks even if your day planning consists of nothing but “buying beer,” “grilling out,” and “drinking beer.”

Letterboard

Letterboard turns your iPad or iPhone into a sign-board. It lets you create signs in the style seen in airports and convention centers everywhere. Oh, what fun can be had with this?!

World cup twitter replay

Remember those championship manager games in the early nineties when you are perpetually watching your team place against others just by watching the text commentary? iPad Classic

Got a spare mac classic lying around somewhere? Got an iPad but needed a stand desperately? Maybe you should try converting your old mac classic to hold an ipad. This thing looks awesome and made me wanna grab an ipad now. Sweet

Lomo spinner

This week Lomography will introduce their new Spinner 360 panoramic camera. The fully mechanic camera captures infinite panoramic shots on 35mm film. You just have to pull the trigger cord and the camera does all the rest for you and exposes the full width of a film role. Hmm, making my hands itch of one.

The quest

After the amazing spot of Nike – Write The Future, the Adidas mark has just revealed a contender  “The Quest” at the time of the World cup 2010. A presence of Zinédine Zidane and players Ballack, Messi, Kaká, Gourcuff. A work of the agency 180 Amsterdam. Nice story telling, but with a lack of freshness in direction.

World cup interactive calendar

Marca.com provides an original interactive calendar for the World Cup.
It’s nice, dynamic and ergonomic. It remains intuitive, you get access to all the information in one screen. This wheel is a good work of infographics.
