Music Philosophy is an excellent project mixing music and graphics. The Mico designer takes the words of a known song of a group or an artist that it affectionate and make a typographical composition of it.
Nicely directed music video by french directors jonas and François. Made me look.
Here is the new worldwide campaign of Nike, “Write the future”. An excellent work by Wieden & Kennedy. Made me look.
Owen Gildersleeve is a designer and illustrator based in London. His work explores both 2D and 3D styles, and he finds great enjoyment in experimenting with new materials and techniques. Love his multi-layered art pieces.
You might know Dutch apple cider brand Jillz from their almost controversial commercial Fresh Men, back in 2009. This week they launched a follow up. Clearly targeted on women, it features the same spicy over the top men again. But the call for action makes it interesting. They want you to vote against the rule that doesn’t allow football players to take off their shirt after a goal. This way, the upcoming World Cup football in South Africa should become interesting for women too.
Karl Lagerfeld’s new short film promoting his Chanel cruise show, Remember Now, is now available in full. If you have seventeen minutes to kill, you could do worse than watching the Kaiser’s favorite models dance around in see-through dresses, Baptiste Giabiconi trying to get people to go to the seventies party, and Karl making his cameo in an all-white suit.
Nicely art directed campaign by the agency Publicis Counseil for Social Samu. Disturbing yet impactful. Vision of Marc Paeps.
Story about a little robotic character who’s just trying to grab some shut-eye but the factory around him springs to life unexpectedly. A serious design flaw in the factories ergonomics prevents the poor guy from reaching the off switch and the rest is history! An excellent work of the graphic designer Cormac Kelly. Got me looking.
