Polaboys are enlarged Polaroids to a scale of 10:1 (to 88x107cm) and backlit. They are 20 mm thick and use energy-saving LED area lights. The frame is wooden and they are made in Germany. Also good to know: The photographs can be changed at any time and you can even send your custom image. This is going to be the next thing for my new home.

This orb-like shelving design by Japanese firm Torafu Architects is a neat idea.

Called ‘Catch-bowl’, the plywood storage solution is focused on corners – so when a hemisphere is divided into a quarter and three quarters, the quarter snugly fits into a concave corner and the three quarters onto a convex corner.

The project Acoustable is born out of a reflection on music and ways of listening to it. As the digital revolution has made music more widely available, mobile and compact, so a good quality dock is essential. The idea of an object which combines good acoustics with user-friendly ergonomics arises from these considerations.

The coffee table at the centre of the room becomes the sound system and the power terminal. This is going in my toplist for the this year.

UK based duncan shotton has designed ‘cloud’, a small puff-like object  that easily fastens to the wall, providing users with a place to set their keys. Embedded magnets secure two sets of keys beneath the cloud to represent  falling rain. cast in matte white jesmonite, each cloud measures 97mm across and can hold items up to 220g. Guess this will be my first toplist for the new year.

This is the exact reason why i would very much love to own a loft apartment, the free flowing space that allows your imagination to flow with those decors you always wanted. This particular loft in Italy, Milan caught my attention and omg, it really looks awesome. Design by Roberto Murgia, the apartment is a showcase of minimalist beauty.  Look at more photos of the place here.

Work and relax on the same table surface with Yuko Shibata’s Switch. Two mobile walls allow the interior or this Tokyo apartment to contain both living and working spaces. Something which i could really have for my new place.

Chris Brigham’s Walnut ‘Bike Shelf‘. It can hold your bike, as well as anything else you want on it quite easily. Something which definitely fits into my new place.

Economy, functionality and privacy were the primary drivers in the design off this sixth floor home office studio. Really awesome design by JPDA. Love how these spaces give you the spaces you need in life. Can i have one please?
