You all must be wondering why I have not been updating my blog. The reason is because I am on a photography trip around Europe and currently am situated in Nice and will be wandering to Geneva soon. So stay tune.

This week Lomography will introduce their new Spinner 360 panoramic camera. The fully mechanic camera captures infinite panoramic shots on 35mm film. You just have to pull the trigger cord and the camera does all the rest for you and exposes the full width of a film role. Hmm, making my hands itch of one.

Voted International Photographer of the year in 2006, his work has landed two Communication Arts covers and multiple articles. Fiscus was named #1 photographer in the United Kingdom in 2008 by industry bellwether Campaign for his highly-narrative and provocative work for Channel 4. A native Texan, Fiscus lives in the eccentric southern town of Athens, Georgia.

Recognized as one of Sydney’s most exciting emerging photographic talents, Jonathan imbues his subjects with humour and poignancy. His instinctual ability to take a concept and tell a fascinating visual story is both innovative and compelling. Was blown away by his rich portfolio and many original compositions like these series of portraits, landscapes and customer orders.

Taking a photo means making a memory. Choosing a moment in time and framing a situation. Archiving it or making it public. Buttons takes on this notion of the camera as a networked object. It is a camera that will capture amoment at the press of a button. However, unlike a conventional analog or digital camera, this one doesn’t have any optical parts. It allows you to capture your moment but in doing so, it effectively seperates it from the subject. Instead, as you will memorize the moment, the camera memorizes only the time and starts to continuously search on the net for other photos that have been taken in the very same moment.
