It looks like a youtube friday for me as i have been viewing great works that is hosted on it. I came a cross this fine example of how art can give a facelift to boring stuff. “Meet the Elements” is the child conceive by Dimitri Mendeleev and Lothar Meyer. No doubt it might not educate you what a noble gas is all about, but it feels good to have that on my t-shirt. Nice video styling except of the super annoying interstitial when the video kicks to 20 seconds.
A new typeface designed by Göran Söderström – Heroine. Inspired by the typeface Windsor, designed by Eleisha Pechey in 1905. Windsor is the typeface used in the titles of many Woody Allen movies. A modern interpretation of this rusty pearl is something that always have been missing in the major type libraries. But Heroine is not only an interpretation, it goes beyond that. With the addition of swashes and alternate letters in several styles it becomes very addictive.

Thanks to the push by Rebecca, i finally integrated my blog with twitter to address the need that some people follow blogs via twitter.
You might be wondering why i did not want to do so earlier. To me, I like simplicity, and i think twitter did a good job by being simple to use. However, over time, the website and various client just had too much junk for me to really take it up as a service.
But all thanks to Jose Frichter. He went back to the basics and created the Helvetwitter client that gives me ample reason to take it up. It’s amazingly simple and aesthetically pleasing. Worth the download.

For those type addicts out there, Type Nuts came out with a whole series of wall paper to fuel your typography cravings. Fresh out from the oven, just in time for my new iphone 3gs.
Can’t sleep last night as some irking thoughts were lingering around. And this quote helped me cleared up my thoughts abit. It’s inevitable that people and things changes, but the key is that i guess i am in a least favorable situation. A change which i cannot control.
I am really a sucker for both cool typefaces as well as furnitures. Cody Haltom came up with this that kept me looking.
It has been sometime since i have been alone in this corner of the world and the thoughts of being close to my love ones lingers in my mind daily. This phrase made me smile as i ponder on the things i want to say to them. Maybe i should start telling them how i feel in a unique way like this?
Of late, there were tales from my peers about thier screwed up personal life. The usual rantings of being in the wrong place, with the wrong person and at the wrong time. This lead me to think that alot of times, we don’t really take things at face level. Meaning alot of us deny ourselves from the reality and will try to kick up a huge fuss over everything. So this post is for all those who have tried but failed, and for those who found the right person. On second thoughts, this is also for those who have yet to make thier decisions.
